Hey guys its the time of the month again were ia m looking for my next shiny part for my bike.
I am looking to get a set of hope teck 2's with braided hoses and floating roaters. At a cost of 340 fitted.
now for the money is there anything on the market that is better.

some people have said the tech x2 have a bit of a wooden feel, formula get consistant good reviews and are rated pretty highly, the avid elixir brakes are also work a look.0

I upgraded to elixirs last month - and for the money i'm extremely pleased! 185mm front and rear, and can't see hwy you would need any more braking than that.

I would consider the XT brake set from Merlin cycles - excellent stoppers!!!
Or how about the SLX set - you could save a few-bob here and spend the rest on shiny new bits!
I have had hope, and although good - I am not sure they are worth the moment (I have V2s on my Marin at the moment - they would stop a transit van in full motion)0
