Alessandra di Stefano is such a fox. She's so... assertive, the way she just barges everyone outta the way at the end of a race and shoves a mic in the face of the winning rider. Grr!

Cav gets a big cheer from the Italian crowd. Needs to lose the shades though. Looks like the Hoff.

Good news - RCS seems to have made an extra effort on the podium girl front. Impressive, even by Italian standards!

Savio looks dapper, as usual. Not sure about the cycling jersey / tracksuit bottoms combo that some of the teams are sporting.

It's the Tour of Italy, man. Fashion, women, what else is there? If they start talking about pasta, I'll post back.

UPDATE: Di Luca needs a haircut, stat!

When LPR walked out with DiLuca, I though he was one of those child-mascots the soccer teams have. Il killer indeed

Who's the swarthy Ben Elton lookalike doing the introductions?

Excellent use of the word "swarthy" my man.

He's RAI's cycling commentator. Can't remember his name, Roberto something.

Ekimov appears to have modelled his mullet on John Candy in "Cool Runnings"

See C VdV bricking it when he thought he had to parle Italiano? Millar, "Yeah he speaks perfect Italian."
Eki looked more like Russian mafia than the average Russian mafia guy.
