Has anyone cycled the spey way or followed the river spey

My wife and I cycled it way back in the 80's certain sections we had to walk but it will have changed by now. We followed the whisky trail, that's as good a reason as any. Quite a few good campsites but they may also have changed. There is a map available.

i did dallas over the top to Archiestown then craigallechie last year and remember that ( after getting to the top) as the most terrific long downhill, with a pause for a really good steak sandwich at th e hotel at Archiestown. The roads were pleasant and not busy.
