Hiya,
Anyone know where I can get a Pink giro jersey - the 2009 by Dolce and Gabana. Prendas has sold out of all but the biggest sizes.
If not that, what about a pink Rapha jersey? nothing in their current collection but I think they've done pink in the past.
Or do you know of any other good quality pink and black jersey? I think I remember seeing an Assos one actually.
I saw a guy in pink and black on the BRC and he looked cooooool. I want some.
I spend far too much time browsing cycling shops
Cheers all

Wiggle do this Nalini one with Bianchi on it:

I like it, just can't ever see myself spending that kind of money on a jersey though, regardless of the 'have you earned it' debate. :roll:0 -
yeh, saw that one too - I like it. I don't give a sh!t if I haven't earned it.
Actually, that pink assos is number 13 - I don't fancy number 13.0 -
Etxeondo do some nice stuff, but it seems to be quite difficult to get hold of in the UK.

Reassuringly expensive and 'limited'M.Rushton0 -
my chest might be too big for that one - plus I'm usually a bit too long for women's jerseys.
Cheers though mrushton. Unfortunately, I am reassured by expense.
The pink on the Etxeondo is a bit too dark - I like rapha pink. Thanks for that suggestion too though.0 -

I picked up a pink Giro jersey from a market stall on the shore of Lake Garda last summer, how Italian is that? Prego!
They had loads of Mercatone Uno stuff and other retro Italian gear too, wish I'd have got some more stuff as the prices were pretty good.0 -

Not yet. Tonight I'm selling a shed load of stuff on ebay (to fund my cycling addiction). I hope I get enough to buy a pink jersey, a rapha gilet and who knows, if I sell that cross trainer, I may even upgrade my garmin to a 705. Then that'll do me until Autumn (I hope)0 -
Rapha have the older style gilets incl. the newpaper print one in the clearance at £75, still overpriced tho'M.Rushton0

mmm, what's that then? clearance? will have a look now. ta mrushton0

I bought the Giro jersey from Prendas two weeks ago - it's a gorgeous bit of kit. Get thee to Probikekit.com now while they still have some....0

+1 for that.
I also like the commemorative Giro jersey: http://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=C7864
I feel a purchase coming on....0 -
I decided to get the rapha gilet today as well. Tried on in the shop and it looked really nice. Tried on at home with my other stuff and it just doesn't seem to go - it's a bit retro and my other stuff is a bit more space age with reflectives and stuff. May have to return it
:roll:0 -
Karen, why not keep it and get some more retro kit0

The wool Conti jersey is quite tasty..... may have to ask for that as a birthday pressie at the end of the month (hint hint)0

Pink Jersey arrived, fits and is nice. Definitely a contender for my Etape jersey. I've tried on the gilet with various jerseys and it's growing on me. I'm going to test it tomorrow when I go up the C&F.
BTW, probikekit service was amazing - ordered yesterday, emailed within a couple of hours to say it was being dispatched, arrived today (free delivery, not priority dispatch or anything like that).0 -
The outfit performed well. Once I had the gilet on (with the rapha cap I bought at the same time - black pink stripe) and my pink jersey, I felt really good. I did well up the cat as well (went up the derbyshire bridge side). Husband remarked on how much I must have spent when I got home though (I hadn't told him about the cap) :oops:0
