I took it upon myself to take the pads out to spray the disc and the pads with some cleaner as the brakes were squeaking. I was confident I would be able to put them back in! although I can't... is it spring first? or spring and pads at the same type... I don't want to force them as to avoid damage!
Also, because I am a doughnut I pulled the front brake lever and need the pistons to retract as cannot get the pads in?
Does anyone know how to fix this to save me the embarrasment of taking my rockhopper disc 2007 to the shop in pieces yet again!!

Thanks in advance..

push the pistons home. (carefull as they cab be damaged as the are not metal) have a look on parktools for pictures.

then make a sandwich of the pads and spring. (manual is downloadable from Srams webby).
"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
