  • He did spell it right at the second attempt!

Why does it matter what anyone else thinks?

They might all be smiling at these other guys, because they think they look like d!cks.

being on a mountain bike is probably enough....

course turning up with the occasional broken bone helps

wheelies all the way to school? bunnyhopping over some shorter pupils?

ok, serious now. you shouldn't care what other people think.

for example, im into rock climbing, what would you think if i wear my harness everywhere i go just to show other people that im a climber?

You ride a bike therefore you dont look cool and never will ,atleast whilst on a bike. Its only cyclists that think cycling kit is cool. More than likely everone will think your a dick.

  • Dunno I pulled a bird once while out on my bike, and when we met later on I asked why she was attracted to me (she asked for my number) she replied coz you looked cool covered in mud and sweat having just piled out the woods ha ha - i think she was a mentalist though !!

    Here you go kiddo:

Just dress like this, I'm sure things haven't changed since I was a kid.

Seriously, biking is only 'cool' in biking circles - if you try to impress your mates or a girl with bike jargon you'll just get funny looks. My fiancee sighs everytime I mention bikes. Do it cos you love it. And dress like this guy if you love that too, don't let others dictate how you should be dressing.
  • Yeah he looks really kewl !!!!!! Seriously where do people find these pictures ???? Gayroadies.com ????

Speedos, yep a fashion crime alright, but the Lion's Mane haircut is in a different league altogether.

(although you could use it as a crude "speedo" by seeing how far your tousled locks are flying up as you travel along.)

    Got to agree

When I go out I look like a tramp! Everythings baggy and loose and none of it matches. It doesn't bother me in the slightest cos I'm comfy.
My girlfriend on the other hand, has to have matching clobber.

I know who looks silliest, me she says!

You don't need to try to be cool. Your a mountain biker. Possibly the most un-cool social group there is.

So just forget it. Ride in on your bike, do your stuff, and don't brag.

Cause you'll just look like a penis.

Markie mate, have a good look at that picture - once upon a time that was considered cool. Now the guy who posed for that feels like a prat. If you become part of any social fad you will one day look like an idiot. Best to just avoid them, wear a smile, be polite and have a rockin good laugh through life and you'll never look back at yourself with regret.

There's an article in a recent TES that reported 3000 pupils 11-16 were quized and most said that coolness was related to how good you dressed and how beautiful you were.
The question is - what is the age of enlightenment? I don't think it hit me till after uni
Now I'm a teacher and I haven't decided if I want to be cool guy or not... I'm thinking not...
