Polar CS100

Can anyone confirm that when using the latest CS100 unit the one with the dark grey casing and white/grey buttons as shown on polar website when in the speed/distance mode on the display and when stationary at traffic lights or junctions the unit simply after a slight pause would register the speed as nil and not revert to the paused message at the top of the display.

I am only asking as i also have one of the original CS100's with the red buttons and when stopped the unit would show paused then revert back to speed/distance when moving again. I have checked the instructions as i realise this may be how the new unit works but nothing is mentioned in the instructions booklet i just want the peace of mind that the unit is working properly and information is being recorded as should be and would be greatful if someone with the newer unit could confirm there's would also work as described in the first paragraph and my unit is not faulty.

Sounds like you've got the 'AutoStart' function set.

Go into 'Settings', then into 'Bike'. 'AutoStart' is the first setting for each bike. Turn this to 'Off', and your computer will keep running when you come to a halt, giving a speed reading of '0', instead of pausing.

Thanks for that just checked when back from work that was the problem it was sitting on setting for bike 2 with the autostart swiched off all sorted now.
