Hi
I'm thinking of purchasing the Cube LTD Pro 2009 to commute to work, I would be doing a 40mile round trip I'm not the smallest of guys 5ft 9 and 19 st with it was wondering if this would be a good purchase? or should I be looking at a hybrid?
I have been riding an old 4 year old Trek 4300 for the last 6months but am thinking of using the ride to work Scheme to purchase a new bike hence the Cube LTD Pro 2009
your thoughts are all welcome good or bad.
regards Neon

Um, for a long road commute I'd be tempted to look at a road bike...
If it's your only bike though & you're going to use it offroad, then maybe worth getting some slicks or even spare wheels for the commute - the rolling difference will be huge.WTD:
Green Halo TwinRail
25.0mm-26.2mm seatpost shim
Red X-Lite bling
Specialized ladies BG saddle (white?) 155mm
RH thumbie
700x28c CX tyres&tubs
Flatbars 620mm 25,4mm & swept, ti in an ideal world0 -

Yep... I totally agree with you about the slicks and new wheels. That would be something I would have to get I currently ride the trek on road with slicks and it does make the difference.
So other than that would you agree that my choice is a good one?0
