    Something like this?

You might want to take your bike in to a store and ask them if a kickstand can be fitted to your bike.
  • If you are looking for one which clamps between the chainstays (between the bottom bracket and the rear wheel) then I suggest watching out for at least two things:

    1) that when it is retracted your foot/pedal won't catch it (very annoying to just rub it, and it can be the source of worry for a time about untraceable 'ticking' sounds); and

    2) that the clamp does not interfere with the cable runs, particularly the ones that go up the seatpost, this could cause fraying of the cable.

    Edit: typo

    Thanks for comments.

What about the Pletscher Multizoom Rear Mount Kickstand? I dont mind spending £20 providing it is stable and does not interfering with anything.

Never used a kickstand but Pletscher make solid kit, I've got one of their pannier racks on my old hybrid.

No help on the kickstand - but I'm looking at buying a flatbar road bike - what made you choose the sirrus sport? (esp. over the standard sirrus with the twist shift)

    Thanks

superdry - I chose the Spesh Vita (girly Sirrus) Sport over the plain one JUST because I strongly dislike gripshifts! Suggest you have a go on one :)

Oh, EDIT to add that I have a kickstand, it was a naaaasty cheap thing from lidl that bolts onto the lower stay - I used a little bit of old innertube to save my paintwork! But I'd be very interested to see what the OP ends up with - keep us posted!
