How to reduce a buckle ?????

Hi, the kids have buckled the wheel on their halfords hack ,
Can someome just run me through the basics of unbckling a wheel ?? , I Am not after perfection or a lecture just the basics, I.E. what side do you tighten / loosen ?? I have usual dad style tool kit = spoke key - large hammer - tie wraps - Garden spade ! ETC
Kids very gratefull. for any help
WHYTE LIGHTNING - CARBON S/L - NOMAD anyone see a patern emerging ????????

    sheldons guide is great and can be printed out but covers the whole build as well.
