Convert fork 80 -100mm

I have heard that the Manitou Axel Comp fork can be easily converted to 100mm travel and apparently much improves the fork- does anyone know how this is done?
Also can anyone give me a brief explanation of what the dial on the right hand fork leg does and how to adjust it correctly. I believe the left hand one is to adjust sag (yes?)

So is it as simple as re-sitting the clip in "longer travel" as they call it?
Is it possible to do this without changing the oil?
