My 2008 Specialized Enduro SL Pro Carbon.
I’ve had this bike exactly a year this Friday and it is simply amazing.

It’s covered basic XC routes, all of the Welsh Trail Centers, Downhill runs at Cwn Carn & Cannock - It really is a do everything bike. Current weight is 29.2lbs.

Problems.
The very first ride didn't get off to a great start – the front wheel taco’d but Specialized replaced it under warranty in 2 days and it’s been bullet proof every since.

In November the hub in the rear wheel seized so I have been temporarily using a rear Mavic Crossride wheel. I plan to get it repaired but have some new Roval wheels arriving soon anyway.

During a routine shock bush change in December Specialized Concept store found the rebound setting wasn’t working as it should be and replaced the unit under warranty. I was really impressed with this service because I had not found any problems with the rebound.

Chains - I’ve gone through four SRAM 971 chains in a year. The bike really needs a chain guide for downhill riding as it gets sucked up in between the frame and crankset which causes the links to bend.

A few upgrades
I've changed the standard saddle to a more comfortable Fizik Gobi XM and have some Roval Traversée wheels arriving next month. The bike will then weigh a light 27.2lbs :)

This September i’m off to 7Stanes for a week and can't wait to hit those big trails
