LBS in Coventry

First off, I like to say Hello. I'm John. Yup, I'm all wet behind the ears here. And in full disclosure, I don't know how much time I could devote to yet another hobby-type web site/forum. So I'm hoping I might get some quick help from you friendly UK types (about the most freindly damn people I've ever met, you Brits are)
Anywhoo, I'm from the east coast of the US, and will be heading back to Coventry for another business trip next week. I've spent 4 week there around the end of last year. I really liked the bike friendly atmosphere and the back country roads (by car).
I was thinking of bringing my pedals, shoes, helmet and possibly lights, and taking an evening, or maybe two, and going for a ride. Since I don't have the ability to pack a bike, I was wondering if there is a good LBS around Coventry (prefer on the south side) where I could rent/hire a decent road bike (or MTB if there are any MTB trails in the area and it's not too wet) for a day or two.
