messing around hardtail!

i just want a hardtail to mess around on, i seem to see loads of things that im after, but dont know what they are. I know of like the giant stp and cove sanchez but what are othr bikes like. Has anyone seen the red bull downhill in the office block on freecaster the hardtails on there are what i mean! cheers for staying with it.
