Check the axle length. I think you will find the singlecross is longer than the supplied axle on these wheels.

Mine has a 174mm axle which to me is a geared hub not a SS hub.

No, it is Flip-flop design, fixed one side, freewheel the other.

The other measurement to check is the frame spacing. I think it is 120mm.

Yes, bought a new axle for mine and the old one measured 174mm though the frame is spaced 120mm.
