Stickers on Miche Race 707 wheels

Sorry, not really a workshop question (?) but does anyone know if the horrible go-faster graphics on Miche Race and other similarly ugly wheels can be removed? Are they stickers that can be peeled off? Anything wrong with spray painting over them?

    Try warming them with a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive and you should be able to peel them off. That trick seems to work most of the time, and won't do any great damage if it doesn't.
