It's probably old but it's the first time I've done it.
On the road/path that leads down to paradise bottom (blue trail) just past the wooden gate, just before here the path forks off (the right path goes onto the red trail (i think)) the left path goes on a bit further.
As you go down there' s a green generator looking thingy with a faint looking path that goes past a field with animals in and is quite high up (I saw a road/path at the bottom)
Going round a bit further the trail comes near to a road/path. by here there's 2 paths. the path on the right says no cycling. further up the path it again splits in to 2 again. One going up, the other going down toward the grotto (which is the path I took) as I was going down I did notice a break off path (which I'll explore another time)
This eventually led me down to the river (avon I think (it's the one under the clifon suspension bridge))
I WOULDN'T RECCOMEND THIS FOR A FAMILY RIDE AS THE PATH DOES GET SKINNY IN SOME PLACES AND DOES GET PRETTY CLOSE TO THE EDGE WHICH IS REALLY HIGH UP
on a seperate but related note, riding along the river, there's quite a few openings along the river which from the top I can't see a way of getting to and will require more extensive riding.
