Ello,

First post so go easy on me

I'm riding in Glentress next weekend, Been thinking of changing my Maxxis High Rollers 2.35's (lust) tyres, over to Larsen TT (Lust) 2.0 on the rear, and a Ignitor 2.35 (Lust) on the front.

Apart from this road trip up north I do most of my riding around Woburn Sands,Chicksands and the usual Trail centers (coed,Afan, cannock).
Any thoughts on this madness????

Ta

    Welcome to the forums...

Would stick with the highrollers, as glentress can be hard on tyres, but if you're a smooth rider....

The Ignitor would be fine but, in my opinion, Larsen TTs are horrible tyres unless it's reeeeealy dry, and even then they have absolutely no cornering grip. A pair of Ignitors would be good though, plenty of grip but less rolling resistance thean the High Rollers.

how about a high roller 2.5 at the front and a 2.35 ignitor at the rear as i don't think i'll get a 2.5 on the back!

    i'm riding a 2007 Meta 5.5 :D

Larsens only work in bone dry dusty/sandy conditions. My new bike came with them fitted first ride out at Rivington I spent more time going sideways than I did going forwards.

As bone dry sandy conditions in the scottish borders are as rare as a sober Amy Winehouse I would give them a miss

Ohhh ok my good friend Prince Akhiem from Nigeria asked me for my sort code and bank account number??? As he had problems changing Zimbabwean Dollars for Uk Gilts at his bank in Geneva.

Funny thinking about that, once I transfered the 10K into his account I haven't heard back from him......
