this season i have made good progress with my 10 TT, from not entering one to 29.33 (first one) to 26.22 last week, and trying to get the club record for my age.
but i waould also like to enter a 5 mile event.
i've looked on ctt website and they didn't have any, atleast for the H regoin
so are there any club events in H regoin (london west)
open or club, any welcome

Part P.829 near Southampton. Not flat tho dude, and not hilly enough to be totally selective! Done 4 on that course already this year.0

10 miles is the shortest distance for "open" events (excluding hill climbs)0

We've got a 5 mile TT near York- it's the clifton introductory time trial.
Mostly it's a bunch of beginners waddling around the course, but you always get a few fast people out you can test yourself against.
5 miles is quite a fun distance to be honest. You don't need to pace at all, just keep aiming to get to the next tree/road sign etc and it'll be over before you know it."I hold it true, what'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost;
Than never to have loved at all."
