Not anymore... I was a member until they started charging.

I ride with Stockport Clarion instead now, more my cup of tea.

im with them it is £20 a year to join but that cover your insurance with them/ctc when your ar on a club ride. the charge to none members of £2 per ride is to pay for items for club use IE lights for night ride for members that do not own any.

    Hi,
no the sunday ride hasn't been happening recently, the only regular mtb ride is the 7pm on wednesdays. Weekend rides happen sporadically as and when people arrange them.

Hi there im also in dukinfield and lookinf for new riding buddies as my old ones sold me out for the ps3. However im only 16. And it would be weird if you werent a similar age. Anyway wat type of riding do you do and what bike do you ride. Good stuff around here includes farmer johns for freeride in marple. Park bridge for a quick whizz down the 4x track and a bit further afield there is delamere forest for trail riding. Wanting to go soon. You know anything?
Mabie forest. Maybe one of the greatest places to ride.
  • Jamazin, I ride a Specialized XC FSR. I don't really know any trails around other than round hayfield, chinley, edale in the dark peaks. When i was living in the centre of Stockport we used to ride out to marple/rowarth and further but since i've moved I've pretty much forgotten about all the trails round Marple.

Normally I would drive out to the meet point in the peaks and go from there so I've not really utilized the trails round this area - looking for some one with some local knowledge so if you fancy getting out give me a shout I would be up for it!!
  • I'm in gee cross and go out for a ride about 5 or 6 times a week. looking to join others. Anyone interested?
