Hi
Just bought a Dolan Cyclocross frame from Graham Weigh in Deeside
I would like to fit aero tt bars if possible but if not the downtube shifters will be acceptable.
Only problem is the bosses on the downtube are larger than my standard shimano 105 shifter bosses on my 1980's raleigh, which in themselves appear to be the same as current models.
Are these shifter bosses peculiar to Cyclocross, are they some mtb crossover, or are they some campag road product I've not met before?

Chances are the bosses on your Raleigh were designed for friction shifters, the bosses on your Dolan frame will take a DT lever and DT stop for STI levers too.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Thanks for the comments, well, Ive sorted it ....with a fine rasp and a cavalier attitude :|
In reality it looks like they'd just got carried away with the powder coat, since by the time I'd removed this back to bare metal the levers fit on.
These will do the trick until I can get around to getting some adjuster stops and fitting the bar-end shifters.
