Assos shorts bliss

I did 60 miles in a new pair of Assos shorts yesterday AND I was breaking in a new rock hard Brooks saddle.

Not a moment of discomfort, that pad is something else.

Assos FI Uno S5 Bib Shorts BTW. They won best of test in Cycling Plus this month. I am starting to think it may actually be money well spent. Is all Assos stuff this good?
Trying my best to do 300 miles a month on and off road.

Yes. Oh yes it's all good with Assos. You CANNOT buy better imo, that's why they're expensive. Worth every penny.

Well still hate mine and I have my seat position sorted and no discomfort now with a regular pair of Endura shorts yet I put the Assos shorts on and I end up with blisters and a numb a$$. I must be cheap :lol:

No - got them from Slane Cycles in Belfast - one of their premier suppliers in the UK so no chance of that.

It makes me wonder if you got the wrong size. I can't understand how they could be uncomfortable otherwise.

Word of advice, if you have a hairy a**e do not wear red Assos shorts.

Just back from a sportive and was behind a chap with red Assos and a hary a**e, they are very see through, not a good look!

Inspired me to overtake very quickly!

I'm just a very very bored, frustrated person with far too much time on their hands...
