I have thought long and heard but sorry I am afraid I just dont like this. As someone said, it's like biker tattoo designs. I might be the minority though

No pic there - but I've seen the bike and it is FUGLY. You are not in the minority.

Someone has taken a ride through the ugly jungle on that thing and hit every tree on the way through.

Despite the Armstrong downer on it , and the colour , I like it . Original , stylish and striking to see . Reminds me a little of the impact Colnago had at the end of the nineties with their radical 'splash' jobs . Good stuff . :D

Reminds me of the old 'ethnic' BA tail fin designs. They were hideous as well.

There's no accounting for taste but you can try to put a value on the free publicity a silly paint job can get, images of a stock factory ride get beamed around the world for free, all thanks to some "art".

Looks a bit like my bike after I've over-oiled the chain & rode to work around tattie-harvesting time

Perhaps, after California, he wanted something no-one would steal ?

But if you had to ride it, you would want someone to steal it.

If that's the future of cycling paint jobs I guess I'll be riding my current bike for quite
    a while.

Whether you love it or hate it,it's got you all doing exactly what Trek and Livestrong wanted, you all talking about it.

Mebbe, but I'm not going to buy it, and it's not making me want to go out and buy any other Trek either...

OK, here's another stupid question. Does it seem that TREK is not very popular
with the majority of posters who comment on it? And why? Is it a Lance thing?
And why would that matter? OK, it was actually questions.

You ride a GIOS, so you know an ugly bike when you see one for goodness sakes.

I have a Trek mountain bike. All mountain bikes are ugly so it doesn't matter

Well - I have a Madone 6.9 - same as the entire Astana team - and I think most of Lance's paint job's are FUGLY.

Regardless of available paint jobs, I won't be switching brands any time soon.
