Having had an accident yesterday my handlebars are bent big time and they are carbon.

I was considering changing the bike for a flat bar type, can I put flat bars on a Roubiax and if so would I need to change the group set as well, its Dura race?

Thanks

You would need to get 10 speed shifters that fitted on flat bars...

    e.g.

And some flat bar brake levers, that is all...

How do you bend carbon bars "big time"? Carbon fibre composites have a rather low strain at UTS compared to alloys.

Having now stripped the bar tape off I notice that its only the hoods that have moved in and I have managed to move them back into position.

Not as bad as I thought, just the silver parts of the hoods, ie brakes that are scratched

Not sure if the wheel is ok may need to get it checked.
