HI
I have just bought a cruiser type bike just for going to the shops on etc, its in excellent nick apart from the chain keeps jumping off the front chainring, I Can fix most things on my Bikes but I just cant figure why its happening, Ive checked everything and nothing seems worn or bent I have sat watching the chain ring spin and the chain creeps over to the left and eventually jumps off I just cant see whats doing it. could it be the wrong chain ? it s the only thing I can think of. the bike has a three speed nexus hub and and a single front chainring.
can any body tell me what the right size chain should be , or have any Ideas
Thank s AL

The chainline's wrong. The easiest fix is a bottom bracket with a shorter axle. If you take it to a good bike shop, they will be able to advise you on the length you need.0
