FSR XC Comp suspension knackered?

Hello - recently tried a few small jumps on my spesh XC comp 08 and shortly after I got a knocking noise sounding similar to a loose saddle but coming from rear suspension area. I get this knock every time i go down rocks. Any ideas what has failed?

Also, on the next ride my forks started topping out and does all the time now with a loud clunk. I've adjusted the preload but it doesn't help. Are the forks knackered too after SMALL JUMPS?

A friend of mine has a FSR XC and also managed to muller the linkage in just one light dirt jump session. Sounds like you have a worn out bearing or shock bush, the bike just isnt designed for that sort of thing.

have you made sure that all the pivot points are tight,bottom bracket,pedals etc are tight

Sounds like rear shock bushings are worn and the forks need a service.

How small is small?

jumps were only 4ft and I was getting only a foot of air max.

I thought a full susser could handle this sort of thing???

They can, but parts do wear and do need serviving. Forks usually every 25-50 hours of riding.
