Bar ends on carbon bars?

maybe a daft question, but is it OK to fit bar ends to carbon bars?
Only after a short set, but won't bother if they are likely to damage my bars!

Mostly depends on the make of bar, some are reinforced at the ends at state can be used with bar ends and others state you can't use them with bar ends.0

My Ritchey WCS carbon bars have alloy inserts on the ends to protect the bar and to enable the fitment of barends. Are they like that?0

no the ends are just hollow.
I could get an alloy lyg machined to fit though, if thats all it needs!?
I'll wait fr a reply form the shop, see what they say.
