Dalby vs Gisburn Forest - Family Routes

Hi,

I was wondering if any one had any comments on the 'easier' routes in Gisburn. As a family we've just progressed from the shorter green route around Dalby to the longer green route - albeit with some walking and I was wondering how the trails at Gisburn compare?

Anybody had experience of the two?

    Not done Dalby but the family routes at Gisburn look OK. Mainly fire road with some hills but in the main fairly smooth surfaces. One bit is a bit bumpy. Thinking of dragging the family up there with the bike trailer and tag along, possibly all behind my bike, now that will be a training run and a half :shock: .
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
