Hi
Am swapping a cassette onto a new wheel. Will be the 1st time I've done this. I'll take this as a chance to clean it up, but do I need to oil it or lube it? Do they need maintenance or is it best to focus on the chain?
Previously I've just kept it clean and sprayed it v lightly with a bit of GT85 now and then, though I know that GT isn't primarily a lubricant as such (I think ).

I never seperately lube my cassettes. Once I've lubed the chain I run it up and down the cassette a few times before wiping the excess off the chain. Seems to do the trick for me.0

I just clean mine, make sure the splines/hub's clean then put it on - re. lubing, I only lube the chain.0 -
