I am getting a new bike though Ride2Work. I have got an £850 voucher, which I want to get bike lights and lock.

I have to get it at evans cycles.

I am thinking about getting a Pinnacle Evolution 1.0 ... e-ec000923

I have one reserved, and it looks pretty well specked for the money.
I am however not sure on the brand reliability with Pinnacle.

Other possibles:

Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disc 2009 ... e-ec016419

Genesis Core 30 2009 ... e-ec017151

Felt Q820 2009 ... e-ec017064

Maybe over budget, but ... Scott Scale 60 2009 ... e-ec016238

Otherwise, canI get some recommendations on alternatives?

  • hi, iv got he genesis core 30, im really happy with it, :D:D its a good spec all shimano with good weels and tires for the money and its light.
    good adjustment in the forks
it rides really good on single track trials, very responsive in corners easy to thro around and its good climber to.
    genesis are under rated,
a really good bike for the money.
its all fun fun fun! when you play hard.
