Wheel building - hub rim combinations

I have rebuilt a pair of wheels. Stripped the hubs down – campag chorus - replaced the cones, bearings and seals. Put new Open pro rims on them and they have done 80 miles now. So now my mind can turn to other things.
I have also got a pair of Mavic Ksyerium Elites the front rim is getting thin. My LBS can gent them rebuilt for £100 each. They have been good wheels and kept true but I now think £200 is a bit steep.
My next thought is to build a new set of wheels from scratch now Mavic open pros on maybe hope hubs will be good but don’t have the look of the Ksyerium.
Does any body have some rim / hub /spoke recommendations that look good. Possibly with aero spokes.

Racing is rubbish you can\'t relax and enjoy it- because some bugger is always trying to get past.
