Double wheelbag that can be carried on your back?

I'm looking for a wheelbag that I can use to take a pair of road race wheels to races without risking punctures etc.
So far all I can find is the Zipp wheelbag:

Has anyone any experience of trying to ride with this bag slung over the shoulder? Obviously I wouldn't be riding long distances,,but it would need to be safe.
Can anyone else recommend any other currently available bags for this purpose?
I keep reading of people in the 50's and 60's who did this using some sort of carrier on their bike - anyone know more about these?
