    Sorry To hijack the thread.

What's the 3/4 race like there on tuesday evenings? I'll likely be driving past on the 12th and was wondering about giving it a try?

  • Tends to be reasonably quick i.e. I've yet to place! it's a separate race for 3rd and 4th cats, this eveing due to light they were 40mins and 45mins +1 lap respectively, 4th cats averaged just over 25 mph. Nice place to race, a few drags uphill and not many tight corners.

3rd cats can race in the 3rd cat only race or with the E/1/2/3 race. The 4th have their own also.
3rd and 4th cat races were steady. Not many attacks or working over of the group. Good for first time or novice racers as long as you hold your line around the long sweeping corners.
Just one crash in all which was in the 3rd cat race on the last corner before the sprint with a suspected coller bone injury.
40 mins I think as it was going dark.

Thanks guys, I'm a 4th cat, so the 4th cat race for me. Sad to hear there were few attacks, my only chance is if I can get in a breakaway, but I think I might give it a go.
