Singlespeed conversion kit for 10-speed freehub?

I know what you're thinking and you're right...
However, I still find myself in the absurd situation of needing a singlespeed conversion kit to fit a Shimano compatible 10-speed only freehub body. Does anyone know if such an item exists?
PS - I have also been trying to source a 9-speed freehub body to fit a Quest Scaffel rear wheel but with no luck to date. Quest are expecting some in the future but it's been a month now and still no freehubs or definitive delivery dates.

Take two old 10 speed cassettes. Open them by using a grinder on the rivets at the back. Remove sprocket that is the right size for your SS and all the spacers and the lockring and the smallest sprocket,
Slide spacers and sprocket onto hub. You may need the smallest spocket to screw the lockring into0
