Just seen a link on Mtbwales regarding re-launch of the Red Kite Bash for this summer, that could be a good outing for us old schoolers ??.

Those heady days of "chainless downhill" ?? & "mtb limbo" ?? and beer !!!.

I'm going to be in Wales when this is on, with my bike too! Is it good then??!
I love the sound my tyres make on dusty single track!
  • It should be a pretty good laugh.

The route for the saturday in particular should be a classic.

According to some of the locals it will be appx 35 miles, encompassing a variety of terrain (forest track, double & single track) and coming through the excellent single track in the Doethie Valley.

The general vibe for the event is one of "fun and laughs" with casual group riding and a pint (or two) in the pub after.

    Cheers
