Yup, you will need good quality cable cutters. Don't want to spend all that cash on a set of cables and bigger the outers up with a naff pair of cutters.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

The bottom top tube is open, but rear towards my mech is sealed.
So its yes and no.
Then again never changed my cables, so i prob have no eyed deer what I am talking about :oops:0 -
So are these XTR ones ok?
Dont want to spend 20.00 and they are the wrong ones.

As for if they will fit I am sure the set comes in 6 lengths of outer of different lengths, 12 sealed ends and 2 inner coated cable0 -
Just found out a bunch about this, my LBS will fit both gear cables on mine for £5! Saves the potential muck-ups & there's a better chance they'll have the right tools0

get some xt outers. something like £2 per meter. then cut them yourself.
get cables separate?0
