Hi Jamie,
I'm up there next week - going to check out Carron Valley on my way back home.
Don't know if that's too far for you, but I'll let you know if it's any good when I get to the bottom.
Have you had a look at http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/INFD-6MQD2A ?0 -
Thanks for that! Carron Valley looks interesting - however we'd like something really close to get us started! I think we'll head upto Glen Isla (http://cycling.visitscotland.com/find_r ... len_prosen), although that is classed as difficult, there are some easy bits we can practice on! Let me know how you get on at Carron Valley though0

HI mate Balkelo Craigowl hill out the back of Dundee is good for a down hill blast & plenty bits where you can just seek out your own lines and go for it, a mixture of road hardpacked trail and shale which is ace for getting the rear end to slide around on, Some bits on the way up you'll need to push your bike, depending on the route you take up.
There are also some nice rides on Kinnoul hill near Perth
Remember have fun & Just Pin It ! :P0 -
Hey jamie.
Have you heard of Pitmedden Forest a few miles south of Perth towards fife ? There is lots of single track trails, for all levels of skills and fitness.
