Trance X2 or Reign 1 ? Suggestions please..!

I 'm looking for a mid-priced, lightish, all mountain rig and i have narrowed my choices to the giant trance X2

I have read some reviews on the trance which seem to be great, but i have the feeling that it might be too cross country oriantated for my taste. On the other hand, i havent' seen any reviews on the reign 1so far, so i have no idea about how it performs. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!!

I've got a Reign 1 and love it. Although because I wanted to I swapped out the fork straight away for a Lyrik as I wanted stiffer than the OE Fox and I wanted the longer fork to slaken it out still more. The Reign is slacker than the Trance to start with anyway, also I have swapped out the rear shock for a coil unit as the one that is fitted OE is not that brilliant, plus I'm a fat sod and blew through the travel far too easily. Reign is more AM oriented compared to the trance, but both good bikes.0
