Clubs around Stockport area

Been riding alone for past 18 months or so and now thinking of joining a club to ride with.
Anyone know of any clubs around Stockport?
I'm not interested in racing just the odd weekend ride and maybe a TT or 2.

    Manchester Wheelers?

    Stockport is pretty close to the Gateway (where we meet), only about 3miles, plenty of people (inc me) come further.

    There is Stockport Clarion but Manchester Wheelers look to be a bigger club who meet on the boundary of Stockport and Didsbury.

    If you live on the south side there is also Macc Wheelers...

    I live in Stockport ( Davenport ) and ride for Manchester Wheelers..

    You've also got Wills Wheels & Janus who I belive meet in Hazel Grove...

    Looks like I may give Manchester wheelers a look.
    Not to far away from me really.

    I don't know when I'm next going to be on a club run :wink:

    I've only got about 2 or 3 weekends that I'm actually left in Manchester, so I might not be on a Club run until September now :?

    You might get to see Willhub though :lol:

    Manchester is probably the best for me out of most.
    I've been told thta Stockport clarion is a bit more race orientated which isn't for me.
    I just want to ride and have fun and a laugh and joke....
