XT M770 Rear shifter

Does anyone know where i can get just the rear shifter from as every where i have looked you have to buy the pair

    Both wiggle and chain reaction cycles sell that derailleur, as well as ebay of course.

    Only seen either a pair or front only in UK stores.

    Buy a pair and ebay the front one?

    I`d put a wanted ad on the singletrackworld forum.Bound to be someone on there thats trashed the front shifter who has one sitting unused in their sprares box.

    thanks for your help, phoned my lbs only do them in pairs so it looks like a pair of slx for £40at Merlin, xt are nearly twice as much and funds are low after buying a new hope bb, its an expensive hobby i might go the road bike route

    Slx have the same internals as XT anyway, so you probably wont notice the difference
