would there be any problems using raceface carbon next sl bars for aggresive trail use?

How aggressive are you thinking? Personally I have a Sunline V1 Carbon riser on my Meta 5.5.2. Carbon bars are massively overbuilt, I'll probably break long before they do. After the first few rides waiting for them to splinter and impale you through the gut (nice image eh?) you forget about them. They really do dull trail chatter through the bars too.
I think most peoples fear of carbon bars comes from the manner in which they can fail, i.e. suddenly with no warning as compared to bending like steel or alu bars might, but you'd really want to be trying to break them. Check them carefully after any big crash where they take a clout but otherwise fit and forget.
I considered the Next SL bars too (wanted a bar with an exposed weave) but they were narrower than I wanted at 660mm. The Sunlines at 685mm are perfect and look the part with an exposed 3k weave, maybe one for you to consider? Or if the strength is an issue, the FSA Gravity Carbon DH riser is a little wider again and built to take DH use. I'd probably have got one of those if I hadn't found the Sunline cheap (God bless eBay).
