Slipping Campag gears

Hi

Firstly I have not much clue when it comes to adjusting gears. My Campag 10speed centaur works well but recently has been slipping when Im on the smaller cassete cogs and pedalling hard. It slips down to a smaller cog, and I end up having to just put it in top gear when pressing on down hill which is not ideal...

Is there an easy way to remedy this? (I appriciate its not easy to explain without pictures..)

    Your cable has gone slack. There is a barrel adjuster where the cable enters the mech, just screw it anti-clockwise half a turn at a time until it changes smoothly in either direction.
