barrel adjusters
Morning all
My Kona cross bike (Jake) came with those little brakes fitted along the top of the bars as well as those integrated in the Tiagra STI. I couldnt get on with the top brakes so removed them. Problem now is that there are no barrel adjusters and no bosses on the frame to fit them as on a normal road frame.
Question is can you buy barrel adjusters that will fit into the slot on the frame that the brake cable outers slide into, or that you can fit on the cable itself ( I seem to remember a friends shimano cable set having a barrel adjuster actually on the cables).
The bike has canti brakes and i really need an adjuster as they are $hit to set up without one!

Jagwire sell what you're after, I've got a pair in the shed which isn't with me. I think they are called something like mickey mouse barrel adjusters. All the results google pull up show US shops though I suspect if you went into LBS they'd be able to order them up for you.
