rear hub replacement

Hiya,
I have a Shimano FH-M475-L, QR, 32H rear hub, 9 sd. It came on my charge duster.
It's making a clicking noise and the casette doesn't run straight, it wobbles slightly. I took it apart the other day, degreased it, cleaned it, re-greased it and still have the same problem.
So I'm thinking it's time for a replacement. I'm happy to spend up to £100 but don't want a massively loud hub, but do want something of decent quality, is there a compromise somewhere with these two things in mind?
I ride XC trails mainly, no massive downhills or jumps although I can't help it sometimes
Cheers

Is the cassette slipping when you put a bit of force through the pedals ?
You don't need to change the whole hub. Just the freehub and a deore one will only cost 15 quid.0 -
No there's definately no slipping, everything feels fine apart from a clicking/knocking sound that occurs on each rotation, and the casette wiggles very slightly.
I didn't know you could replace just that part, is it easy to get it off?0 -

Cassette off, spindle and ball bearings out, 10mm allen key inside and undo and it slides off. Half hour job bud.
A little play in the cassette is ok. Clicking and knocking does sound a little unhealthy. Although, I will say that if you don't know how to remove it then you clearly haven't flushed out and re oiled the free hub which will help quieten things down.
Just remove the freehub as above, remove the little rubber seal from the back and slish around in some degreasant(I used a bit of petrol in a container) for a bit. Blow out or allow to dry on its own and re oil.0 -
Thanks chaps, I'll take the thing apart again and take a look.
