RaceFace Ride Stem, Bars and Seatpost. Any good?

I have a GT Avalanche 1.0 08 and at the moment just have the standard bars, stem and seatpost on.

No idea how much they weigh but would the RacFace stuff be a good improvement on what I have now?

It's only 46 pounds for all three so seems to be quite a cheap worthwhile upgrade maybe?

Its a decent, if a little weighty. May not be any lighter than what you have.

If you know what shape you want in the bars and stem, maybe worth going for it - but otherwise, no.

If want to save weight, weigh what you have and compare to what is on the market.

Weigh the items you have first.RF stuff is very nicely made and finished and their bars tend to be a nice shape, but Ride is the entry level stuff so maybe not much lighter than what you have.Step up to RF Evolve or Deus and you might find some useful weight savings.
