edited April 2009 in Road buying advice
just bought some Endura from CRC and they're okay, and cheap (£9 for 3 pairs)

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=18123

but they're a tad thin for me.

Any recommendations for some good, hard wearing, supportive, summer, white socks.

Don't mind a bit of colour.... 8)

Yeah I did see that afterwards which does make it a bit easier to accept. Still, can't help but think of the laughs you'd get posting this as a 'deal' on hot uk deals

I guess there are limits to how exciting you can make a sock look, :D but the retro/Italian/vaguely70s image does it for me (and the fact they're Campagnolo just adds to that of course).

One thing that's worrying me; SURELY it's ok to wear these without being a current or ex Italian champion..??

Pearl Izumi Attack Sock is quite high up there on the price/performance ratio. £9 for 3 pairs.

Who came up with the idea of "attack socks"? Sounds like Captain Underpants arch enemy. I think it had been a long lunch time in the Pearl Izumi marketing department.

They would have been the perfect sock for my attack dog though....

  • Well... You know what they say about wearing anything with the italian flag on it... That it makes you faster and more attractive to the opposite sex.
