Hi guys,

After a month of stripping and building I am happy to introduce Jeff the singlespeed (My fiance named him for me)
Jeff was a Raliegh Amazon bought of Fleabay for the whopping price of £20.
I then proceeded to strip down to the frame... give him several coats of ford Panther black paint. Then re-built using some fresh parts bought from fleabay and a handful of fresh grease... the red stuff which looks like donut jelly!! I was donated the Pedals, tensioner, and brakes by freinds (Cheers guys!)

I have commuted to work for 3 weeks now and thought it time Jeff was introduced to the forum. I do quite a lot of Trail riding too and can already see the benefits to my fitness on the ups!!

So... here he is....

Let me know what you think of Jeff!!

PS How do you get the pics up instead of the address?? I used to be able to do it....I forgot now!

I am loving Jeff. Was a bit scarry the last 2 days... having V-brakes in the wet after being used to Juicy 7s on my DMR Exalt!! Is there a trick to getting them to work in the wet?? Ive heard of people grinding there rims to give a better grip... does this work?
