Forgot the anniversary and the wife's OK about it.

No really, she forgot about it too!

Too many things going on in our life, looking to move house with viewings arranged and needing to get cracking as we've given notice already; getting car insurance sorted for our Irish reg car (a serious hassle) and a insurance broker being a complete and utter w&nker; having holidays arranged in the middle of when we'll be wanting to get packing; getting to work on time what with traffic jams and our 20 month old throwing up in the car every day....

Now you that she didn't really forget, this has been saved up for a future occasion which of course you will have forgotten by then.

I 'remembered' my anniversary a month early. But because I booked a nice meal and got presents and sweets I was totally up on points. :smug:

Actually I usually forget my parents birthday too, I usually remember a week or so after. I only remembered that it was actually our anniversay because today as I look at the (Australian) papers online its news about Anzac Day and also my nieces birthday and we where married the day before.

I'm like that, remember most things by their relationship to something else...

Sorry chuck - you're deluding yourself mate - first serious argument you have it will be "...and what's more you forgot our anniversary" - the fact that she forgot it as well will be forgotten (female selective memory) :)

I wanted to make sure I got back to London nice and early Saturday evening as the gf wanted to cook for me and I knew it was our 9 month-versary. So when I get round there I say "happy anniversary" and she'd forgotten! Which, I think, is very encouraging as it shows she wanted to pamper me for no reason :)

It's not even that it's forgotten; the female of the species considers this to be wholly irrelevant. :)

I always forget the round number multiples of odd numbers of weeks - versaries as well.

    I'll get my coat.

Once managed to remember our anniversary (wedding) when she completely forgot. Have never let her forget it!! My feminine side I guess :D
