Do any of the sages out there know where (apart from 'Wiggle) I can get a
pair of the 'Mega' range of shoes.

Wiggle are sold out again :cry:

Happy hunting ! - I went down this route - best I got was a pair could be ordered - payment up front, and I couldn't try before I purchased. Maybe it was the wrong time of year , but know these shoes are diffucult to get hold of...............and bloody expensive !

    Why this paricular shoe ?

Mega's are normally "Special Order" only. I've pre-ordered mine form Steve at GB Cycles, Croydon, but Carl at Condor's (Gray's Inn Rd, London) is also just as helpful. You will however, have to pay upfront for them. The next shipment due into the UK from Sidi is mid July. All retailers usually have to place their order into Bigbear (the importers) 12-14 weeks before delivery, and I understand they have to pay upfront for the Mega's aswell!

Like most things Italian, the waiting is all part of the process!

How wide do your feet have to be to need the 'Mega' ones? I know my feet are on the wide side as I find Shimano road shoes a touch narrow but I have heard standard SIDI shoes are fairly generous in the width dept. to start with.Is this true?

Oh and please remember to click on my blog:

The more clicks I get the higher it creeps up the google radar :)

I went for northwave vertigos - wide enough for me - really comfy - and great buckle strap - only £55 as well !

id say the standard size is wide enough, tho it was the genius 6.6 2007 model fit was perfect, that being i just needed one size up. i know people will go on about always buy in shop but its common sense to do so.
