Rides near Tower Hamlets?

Got to spend next week staying near Tower Hamlets (London), anyone know anywhere fairly close I can ride, appreciate any info as I don't want to spend the evenings cooped up in a hotel room, doesn't have to be offroad but fairly quiet would be nice, don't really want to drive anywhere either if I can avoid it. Help please

You don't need to. You can easily ride to the bottom end of the Forest from Bethnal Green.0
